    2008 5K: Running on Everything for a Cause.

    Run Run Run.... The day could not have been nicer!!!! Wow what a day. The weather was great, the amount of runners and money that was raised, the overall effort by the community and friends of the Streiter family to help the Jaycees in a great cause... continued on 5K site

    We also for the first time got publicity from the The Daily Record and Florham Park Eagle. A special thanks goes out to them for taking the time to send their representatives down and cover the event. The event has gone forward for over ten years continually striving higher and reaching new benchmarks but, this year was a little different, it was very personal to a lot of members. Thank you all for helping and the Billy and Ashley Streiter Scholarship Fund is a little closer to reaching it’s goals now. And a special thank you to Marisa Forti …

    2008 Golf Outing:

    Lining up for a great shot on a great day! Well, Well, Well another golf outing!!! And what a great outing it was. The day could not have been better. The course was in great shape for early spring golf and the food and drink all rounded out a great day....

    Golfers began arriving as early as 7:00AM for the 8:00AM shotgun start. Breakfast was provided that included bagels, assorted pastries, as well as coffee and juice. Upon checking in all golfers received a “goodie” bag that included a raffle ticket for door prizes to be given away at lunch. Golfers found their way to their golf carts and off to the course...

    Spring into Easter - What a Great Saturday:

    A Special Thanks to Linda Michalowski A.K.A Easter Bunny March 15th, The two events went off without a hitch. The Easter parade was a success with over 100 children participating under beautiful skies. Special thanks to Nick Buccheri for setting everything up. Hope your trip to China went well... John Amendola did a great job as MC and Nick G was steady as usual with the set up of the equipment and the topology of the octagons.

    A Special thanks to Linda Michalowski A.K.A Easter Bunny for her performance and to Anthony for the trucks and the coupons. There were many more folks who helped out and it was a great team effort. Thank you to all...

    The night time Roller-Skating party was a success with about 100 happy skaters moving and shaking the night away. Ralph Panarello and Mark Hiley did a great job coordinating everything and there was plenty of pizza, ice cream (supplied by Applegate Farm) and sodas. Pictures of the event will be on our web site very soon so be sure to check back soon.

    Next up is the Atlantic City Trip, DSA (coming soon to the web) and the Jaycees Golf Outing on May 5th. Let’s all pull together for these events and make the a smashing success and remember you can now pre-register online.
