    See Ya - in 2009
Thank You All For a Great Outing, see ya in 2009...

(Nice work Dave...)Well, Well, Well another golf outing!!! And what a great outing it was. The day could not have been better. The course was in great shape for early spring golf and the food and drink all rounded out a great day.

Golfers began arriving as early as 7:00AM for the 8:00AM shotgun start. Breakfast was provided that included bagels, assorted pastries, as well as coffee and juice. Upon checking in all golfers received a “goodie” bag that included a raffle ticket for door prizes to be given away at lunch. Golfers found their way to their golf carts and off to the course.

After the rounds were completed the score cards were turned in and reviewed by the pro shop. Two foursomes finished 8 under par in the scramble tournament and received gift certificate prizes for the extensive golf shop at the course.

The day then culminated with all golfers settling into a fine feast and drink provided in the upstairs clubhouse setting. Laughter and fun could be heard through the place. There were door prizes that were given out and additional prizes to be won that were donated by our sponsors. A 50/50 drawing was also held.

Many golfers were overheard say: “What a great outing”, “ The prizes were great”, and “When are you guys doing this again!!!!!”

Scott Peterson, Thanks for yours and your teams hard work!Well as you can see the outing was a success and did also raise a good amount of funds for the Jaycee Scholarship Fund. This event, as well as others, are what makes this organization a great part of this town!!! And finally hats off to the golf committee of Nick Genoese, Scott Peterson, and Dave Roberts and for a fine job they all did on this event. A special thanks also goes out to Jeff Hegan for his tireless commitment to making this day a success.

Thanks to all others Jaycees that helped out leading up to the day and on that day!!! Without you this would not have been possible.

    Scott Peterson...
